All tables to be ergonomically designed, with ample elbow room for every student in the workspace to maximise efficiency and safety.
Ergonomic dimensions of tables must be determined keeping the average height of the student body in mind,
Sinks must be placed at frequent intervals in convenient positions to promote ease of washing and prevent the backsplash of water or chemicals onto other students.
Fume hoods are extremely important in any school science lab for good laboratory practices and observe proper student safety to avoid any possible health hazards that might arise from handling reactions that result in toxic fumes.
Spillage kit, first aid kit, safety chart, and fire extinguishers must all be readily available to deal with any possible contingencies.
